    "OPM_ALGEMEEN" : "De locatie in Stinzen wordt \"Bolta\" genoemd, maar het is waarschijnlijker dat hier Botma wordt bedoeld (zie de beschrijving van Noomen). \r\n\r\nNoomen: \"Samen met andere hoeflingen byder oestersyde der Pasen sloot Syds Buttema zich in 1490 aan bij het verbond met Groningen.\"\r\n\"Anna Epes Aesgema erfde rond 1550 27 pm land in Buttema, haar halfbroer Tjaert Bolta de rest van Buttema of Botema guet ende staeten metten steen boven eerde ende onder eerde, met die landen, eygendom ende heerlicheden daertoe behorende. Inderdaad treden daarna de Bolta's in Morra op als aanzienlijke inwoners. Mogelijk is hun state Buttema bedoeld met het door Sibrandus Leo aangegeven adelshuis Bolta te Morra. In 1580 was Tjaert Bolta's zoon Gerlif administrateur van de kerkvoogdij van Morra. Omstreeks 1585 was de state eigendom van Wyger Gabbesz, grietenijvolmacht, dijkgraaf van Oostdongeradeel en stamvader van een nieuwe familie Botma, van rijke eigenerfden.\r\nTot 1748 bleef Buttema in eigendom aan deze Botma's. Bij een gedeeltelijke verkoop in 1660 werden huizinge, schuur, hoving, poort, gracht en singels en de stoel en grafsteden in de kerk genoemd. Op de kadasterkaart van 1830 worden de grachten en singels en ook de poort nog duidelijk aangegeven.\"",
