    "OPM_ALGEMEEN" : "Noomen: \"De oudste vermelding van Palma is Palmere gued in 1529. Palma behoorde lange tijd aan de zelfde families als Roorda, waaraan het grenst. Van tijd tot tijd had het ook adellijke bewoning. Opvallend is de brede gracht rond de state.\"\r\n\"In 1529 noemde Douwe Jousma in zijn testament een rente uit Palmere gued. Antoenis Galama en Douwes dochter Kunier Jousma waren in 1543 eigenaars van Palmer guedt. Evenals Roorda was ook Palmera geen oud Jousma-bezit. In de 15de eeuw had het waarschijnlijk aan de familie Wiarda uit Goutum behoord. In 1543 was het namelijk nog belast met memorielasten voor Tzalingh Wyaerda en Aeyl.\"\r\n\"In 1640 waren Groot en Klein Palma (SC3 en SC4) eigendom van ondermeer Eliana Thonisdr van Hettinga, een kleindochter van Tiete Epez Hettinga en dus een betachterkleindochter van Douwe Jousma. Groot Palma werd door de jufferen van Hittinga zelf bewoond en werd in 1664 dan ook als edele state aangegeven. Ook in 1728 had het nog een \"heerlijke\" bewoning: de heer B. Nysten bewoonde de state toen zelf. De grachten rond Groot Palma zijn op de kadasterkaart van 1830 goed te zien en zijn nu nog gedeeltelijk aanwezig. In de late 19de eeuw verrees hier een fraaie kop-hals-rompboerderij. Uit de terp zijn in de loop der jaren tientallen grote kloostermoppen tevoorschijn gekomen.\"",
