    "OPM_ALGEMEEN" : "Noomen: \"Boulsma, in 1484 Boulsme guet en in 1502 Bowtsma gwed genoemd, wordt opgenomen vanwege de 15de-eeuwse eigenaars, die er oorspronkelijk waarschijnlijk ook woonden: de familie Boulsma, met adellijke connecties.\r\nDe oudst bekende bezitter van Boulsma is Wibren Boulsma. Hij werd in 1444 voor het eerst genoemd, toen hij met andere hoofdelingen vrede sloot met de stad Groningen.\"\r\n\"In 1540 was Boulsma goed, dat toen, evenals in 1484 door een pachter werd bewoond, een van de grootste goederen te Hijum; het werd voor 25 floreen aangeslagen. Naast bouw-, gras- en hooiland werd die steede ende graft genoemd.In 1554, 1559 en 1566 werd Boutsma staten en saete opnieuw genoemd; het was toen waarschijnlijk een gewone boerderij. Op grond van het floreenbedrag en de grootte, vanwege de belending in 1543 (ten noordwesten van het pastorieland) en vanwege de eigenaar kan Boulsma hoogstwaarschijnlijk met floreennummer FC20 worden geïdentificeerd. Deze sate vertoonde op de kaarten van 1718 geen kenmerken van een stins, zoals grachten of stinswier.\"",
