Deze wier lag midden in een groot complex land dat in de 15de eeuw aan de familie Jongema behoorde: Syurda of Siurdema sate (FC14) en Gerralda of Gralda sate (FC15 en FC16). Het land van Siurdema en Gralda grensde aan dat van de stins Hoekens die in de late 15de eeuw aan de Walta's - een andere tak van de Jongema's - kwam. In 1481 bedoelde Aeda Keympaz Jonghama waarschijnlijk Siurdema, toen hij dat gued dat Jan Dyrcksz toe Yndyck huurde, by dae nordera syde des paedis in dae Bonghjeerd, aan zijn broer Eeda en aan Johan, zijn bastaardzoon, naliet.\" \"Siurdema zelf was in 1511 en 1542 de op één na grootste, en in 1640 zelfs de grootste sate van Bozum.\" \"Later wordt het goed Sjoerda staten (1601) en Siurdema sate (1637) genoemd.\"\r\n\"Zowel Siurdema als de beide Gerralda-goederen waren in de 16de eeuw en later pachtgoederen.
